Tune In Tuesday (164)

Tune In Tuesday

HELLO!!!! I wanted to first apologize for missing last week. I had myself a super important interview and found myself totally forgetting about Tune In Tuesday. But the good news is, I got the job! *happy dance*

In other exciting news, I am going to Faster Horses Festival this weekend! It’s three days of camping and country music. This year the headliners are Tim McGraw, Miranda Lambert, and Keith Urban. In honor of the upcoming concert, I decided I would share my favorite song by each of them. I hope you enjoy!

My Little Girl by Tim McGraw

Mama’s Broken Heart by Miranda Lambert

‘Til Summer Comes Around by Keith Urban

Tune In Tuesday is a weekly feature in which bloggers get to showcase another one of their loves, music! This feature was originally created by Ginger over at GReads! but you can now find it here at Kate’s Tales of Books and Bands. If you would like to participate in this weekly feature, make a blog post showcasing a song (or a few!) and link up at the bottom of this post by clicking the cute blue guy! While you’re here make sure to check out all the other awesome blogs that have decided to participate!

This week I am going a little bit random and a whole lot country! I know I don’t usually share country music on here but it is a big part of what I listen to on a regular basis. Sometimes I just get in these little moods and that’s ALL I feel like listening too. The past month or so, it seems like I have been listening to country a lot more than usual and that is partly in thanks to the songs I’ve picked out today. I flip between our 3 local country stations just to see if they are playing every time I get in the car. I just can’t help it, they are that good!

Mama’s Broken Heart by Miranda Lambert

Miranda has so much sass, I just love it! I really wasn’t a huge fan of her until I saw her in concert. She put on such an awesome show! The shirt I got from that concert has lyrics from this song on it.

I Don’t Want This Night To End by Luke Bryan

This song gets the heck played out of it but it is one of those songs I just don’t get sick of. In fact ALL of Luke’s songs are ones I don’t get sick of.

Every Storm (Runs Out Of Rain) by Gary Allan

This is such a beautiful song, plain and simple.

Highway Don’t Care by Tim McGraw, Taylor Swift, & Keith Urban

Not only do I love this song because I ADORE all three people who sing it, but it is also a simply wonderful, somewhat sad song.

Cruise by Florida Georgia Line

This song rocks my socks off every time I hear it! I was having a sucktastic day yesterday but this song came on and I just couldn’t help but grin!

Tune-In Tuesday (22)

Tune in Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by the lovely Ginger @ GReads so you should head on over and link up! It is a great way to bounce from blog to blog and discover what others are listening to! I love music but there is so much out there that I haven’t heard of before. That being said, feel free to leave a link to your Tune-In Tuesday post!

Tuesdays have quickly become my favorite blogging day because I just adore this feature so much! This is the THIRD week of Tune In Tuesday 90′s Edition and I have a ton of great songs for you guys today!

For the year 1995 I just HAD to go with a song that was not even made in 1995! TGIF sung by The Secret Handshake (a newer band that I totally love) is like one of the best songs ever. It mentions EVERY single awesome TV show that aired in the 90’s because let’s all be honest, you just can’t beat shows like Step By Step and Boy Meets World!

One of my favorite songs from the year 1996 is Breakfast At Tiffany’s by Deep Blue Something. I can still listen to it to this day and sing all the words to it!

1997 is where all the super great music came into play so I had to choose a few songs for that year! You Were Meant For Me by Jewel is a song that I LOVE to listen to. Wannabe by the Spice Girls and Quit Playing Games (With My Heart) by the Backstreet Boys are the songs that started my crazed fan-girlness of these two groups. Last but definitely not least for today is a song from one of my favorite country music duos ever. Tim McGraw and Faith Hill have perhaps one of the greatest love songs of all time. I remember this song being sung at my cousin’s wedding and believing with my whole heart that this song fit the couple perfectly. It’s Your Love is a great song that I still listen to every now and then!
