“So what are you going to do about it?” He pulled me closer as we barreled through the streets.

“I’m going to pay attention to the things that matter. Like this.” His hand went under my chin and pulled my face up. “I’m going to pay attention to you, and the way the sun catches the darker streaks in your hair, the pink in your cheeks and your beautiful eyes. That’s what I’m going to pay attention to right here, right now.”

I nearly melted off my seat.

“But you don’t even know me,” I said. This was too much, too fast. Even though I’d been hearing about him from Rory, I still didn’t really know what mattered. The important things. Life was all about the little details.

Like if he was a morning person, what his favorite breakfast cereal was, what song did he always get stuck in his head, how was his relationship with his mother.

He shrugged one shoulder and pulled my face closer.

“I know that right now I’m paying very close attention to your lips and I’d like to pay even closer attention to them…” I turned my head at the last moment, so he missed and got my cheek.

Give Me Something (book #1 in the series) is a book that has been on my TBR pile since last year. It had one of those summaries that just sucked me in; Told me I needed to read it. After reading the summary for book two and seeing the GORGEOUS cover of it (down below!), I am even more convinced that this series is a must-read for me. Taking Something sounds even more fascinating than Give Me Something and honestly, I didn’t even think that was possible.

It brings me great excitement to be able to take part in the cover reveal for the 2nd book in the Give Me Something series. Without further ado, the cover!

So gorgeous, right? It’s beautiful, and soft, and peaceful and well, it gives me hope for this book because after reading the summary, I’m just a tad worried things aren’t going to be all smooth sailing for our main character. “Tell me again how you plan on pulling this off?” Lila asked as she sat down on the edge of my bed. I had called her first thing that morning to tell her that I was heading to Los Angeles to produce Sadie’s album, and within the hour she was knocking on my front door to offer her insight and suggest what was and wasn’t acceptable Hollywood attire.

“Same way I pull everything off,” I answered quickly.

“I don’t think making her fall in love with you is going to work this time, Nick.”

“Seriously?” I smirked. “Now you’re doubting my abilities with women?”

“Not women in general. Just this one.”

“She’s no different than the rest, Rae.”

“Yes she is,” she disagreed.

Brynn was a mistake. She had run a couple cons with me a few years ago when Lila went and fell in love with my brother. I should have known better than to sleep with her, but dammit she was good looking. Not to mention a hellcat in the sack. I had needs. Sue me. It wasn’t my fault that she hadn’t understood our arrangement. Run cons and have sex. I never said anything about a relationship.

“I have other ways of making women bend to my will,” I said, trying to convince Lila.

“Do you?” She laughed, obviously not buying it. “Don’t get me wrong, Nick. You’re a good guy, deep down, but you know as well as I do that every single scam we ever ran was based on one thing. If you’ve seen this blog before, you know I am a fan-girl of all things New Adult. I am all for trying a new book by a new author and this one sounds like one I am totally going to love. It doesn’t hurt that foreign bad boys are involved. So without further ado, let’s see the cover to this sure-to-be-awesome book….

So what do you think? Totally gorgeous, right? I LOVE the couple on the front because well, HOT but the details in the background mixed with the pretty shades of blues is what really catches my eye. A note from the author: I love, love, love this cover.  From the beginning I wanted an iconic London image.  I wanted something romantic, sexy, and adventurous that really captured the heart of the book.  We played around with a couple ideas, wanting to convey both the sexy NA feel and the unique setting.  It was a tough cover- my hero is half Lebanese, so finding stock images was a challenge.  Harlequin was amazing to work with and I was so lucky to have tons of input.  I actually created my own cover and sent it over to them and they did a beautiful job of taking my idea and improving on it tenfold!  There’s this line in I SEE LONDON about London nights being full of adventure and possibilities.  That will always be London for me and I think this cover represents that spirit perfectly.  What do you think?

“So are we going to talk about it?”

I jerked my head up. A knowing smile spread across Samir’s lips. An awkward tension filled the air between us. It was strange to think that on one hand we’d been more intimate than I’d ever been with anyone and yet he still felt like a total stranger.

“I don’t know what you’re talking about,” I bluffed.

He quirked a brow at me, his head tilted to the side, his expression considering. “So that’s how you’re going to play it?”

“Pretty much.”

I knew I was the polar opposite of smooth, but I didn’t know what to say to him.

Samir grinned. “Fine. I have my memories to keep me company.” He winked at me. “And believe me, I have plenty of good memories.”

I reached out and shoved him, the move reflexive, my hand fisting the expensive fabric of his shirt. I froze mid-motion, my hand clutching the fabric, half-pulling him towards me, half-pushing him away.

Samir’s voice deepened, grew seductive. “Why won’t you admit you want me? It was pretty obvious when your body was wrapped around mine.”

I flushed. “My body was never wrapped around yours,” I snapped, releasing my hold on his shirt. “It was a one-time, stupid, drunken thing. It’ll never happen again.”

“Sure it won’t.”
