Hello there everyone! I apologize for this being a little late (two weeks in a row…whoops!) but I am a bit of a mess today. The reason why? I LEAVE FOR BEA TOMORROW!!! I have nothing packed, I have nothing even on my packing list, I don’t think I even have a piece of paper to write my packing list on. All in all, I am just a little bit overwhelmed and slightly (okay, EXTREMELY) disorganized.

In honor of all the book nerdiness that will be taking place over this next week, I have book-themed songs for you today. I hope you all enjoy!!!

Bookworm by Margot & The Nuclear So and So’s

Books and Letters by The Morning Light

A Book Like This by Angus and Julia Stone

Book Club by Arkells

Hey there fellow Tune In Tuesday-ers! I hope your week has been off to an incredible start so far!

For today’s Tune In Tuesday post I decided to go with a band I recently learned about. I can’t remember if I saw them on one of your guys’ Tune In Tuesday posts or if they randomly popped up on my Spotify. Regardless, I am SOOO happy I know who they are now! Over the past two months, Arkells has been filling my ears with musical awesomeness. Their music can be very fun and upbeat but then some of their songs have this super awesome rock tone to it. Basically their music makes me smile and that’s all that matters. While I like pretty much EVERY song by these guys, I have tried to narrow it down to just a few of my very favorites. I hope you all enjoy!

Deadlines by Arkells

I like this song because it has that more “rocker” sound I was talking about it!

Michigan Left by Arkells

I live in Michigan so I feel it is only natural that I like this song. Also, I know I featured this song not too long ago but I just love it THAT much!

Book Club by Arkells

I think that the fact that this song is entitled Book Club is a good enough reason for it to be my favorite. Also, I really like the original version of this song (i.e. I think you should check it out) but I can’t help myself to a good acoustic one!

Week number 4 for Tune In Tuesday is finally here! I decided to put together a future road trip playlist for this week. I like my road trip playlists to have a little bit of everything; I like the slow songs, and the fast ones; I like the songs with catchy lyrics and the ones that tell stories; I also like a bit of oldies but goodies mixed with some newer tunes. With that being said, this road trip playlist is made out of absolute randomness but it is full of songs I love so that’s all that matters, right? The playlist is below along with some videos!

Endless Summer by The Jezabels

Gone, Gone, Gone by Phillip Phillips

Come On Eileen by Dexys Midnight Runners

Rich Girl by Hall & Oates

Michigan Left by Arkells

Last week I hosted a giveaway in honor of 100 Tune In Tuesday posts. The winner gets their choice of 5 songs from my Tune In Tuesday playlist. The winner of that giveaway is…

Cassie Johnson!
